The kids have been awesome at telling me what they are doing through out the week concerning "putting God first".  It has been such a joy to watch them and to see the excitement in their sweet faces.  This past Sunday we added the rule book into play.  Each of the kiddos got a turn telling what one of their favorite games were and the rules.  We talked about how sometimes following rules are not a lot of fun but they are there to help keep us stay safe and to help us be successful.  The rule book that we introduced was, yes of course, the BIBLE!  We talked about how all the rules we need to be successful in God's eyes are in this amazing book.  Talk to your kiddos this week about rules they like to follow and some rules that they do not like.  Then, see what the Bible says about them.

New Year

I hope you all are having a great start to 2013.  My thoughts at the end of the year are always with gratitude for the past, but excitement for the future - and focused reflection on why we do what we do.  We started out with a lesson for the kiddos on making God number one in our lives.  It was an amazing time with the kids.  I never grow tired of hearing what the minds of these little ones are thinking.  Our next lesson was focused on prayer.  I don't know if you have realized it yet or not, but our kiddos are the best prayer warriors ever! 

I just want to say to all the CLC families how much we love you.  And how much we love your kids.
